customising dnserror.html

Steve

Hi,

I want to be able to customise the standard dnserror.html page that
is displayed when a webpage can't be found.

We have a number of PC's on a production line that link into a website
on a local server. These PC's are always connected to the website
(24x7) but the local server needs to stop the web server (Apache) each
night or when there's a problem on the network.

I want to be able to change the standard windows error page to a
customised one to display our company logo, text informing the users
of what's happening and also a button so that the user can click on
that and the page gets refreshed.

Thanks

Steve

Oh, let me see... How about using Google to search for: customize
dnserror.html

You will get some links to ideas, discussions and a reference to
Kelly's Korner: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and
number 334.

Maybe that will get you started.
