Custom Animation

Question - A while back I had a pro do a powerpoint presentation for me. He
did an animation where on one slide five pictures transistioned, one after
another. The slide did not change - just the photos. When I go to custom
animation and look at what he did, it shows a list of items. The first is a
green star followed by the photo name, then a red star with the same photo
name. This is repeated five times with each photo. How do I do this in a
brand new presentation? Help

(green) and exit (red) animations.
