custom animation

I transferred my 2003 ppt files to 2007. In the custom animation slide, I am
having a problem previewing the animatin of a single slide. When I press the
'play' button it appears to run through, but so fast you can't see it. What
could be causing the animation preview to run so quickly? How do I slow it
down??

What are the animations? In preview all animations are immediately one after
another, whether they are after previous, on-click or with previous. So a
number 'appear' animations often occur to fast to keep up with the preview
mode and just all show up at once.
