Custom Animation Rotate Text?

J

James

Hi,

I'm trying to create an animation of the word "fracture" so that the word
fractures in two. The sort of effect is for the letters "frac" to stay where
they are and for "ture" to move. I've easily got to the point where the
"ture" slides downwards but that's not quite what I want. Ideally I want the
bottom left of "ture" to stay put and for the rest of the text box to rotate
around that point clockwise say 45 degrees. Is this achievable? Hints and
tips appreciated.

Regards, James

James,

Have a look at this

http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/cool-powerpoint-animations.htm

One of of the slides (21) there is a very similar effect.
The text is labelled "Linking", It rotates around the right hand side and
not the normal middle point of an object.

The trick is to 'group' your object with another object, hence moving the
'middle point' that powerpoint uses to rotate something.
