Custom animation gone amok!

I currently have set up a powerpoint presentation with click to start for the
headers and timed starts for subheaders, but they are all just starting up
automatically, as if they were were all setup as timed starts.

It seems like my 2003 powerpoint is ignoring my start commands! Even if I
remove all commands and implement new ones, it doesn't change the situation!

Any help?

Hi

The first place I would check is in Slide Show -> Set up show -> 'show
without animation' isn't ticked.

If that doesn't help, let us know a little more - what are the animations,
are they added to placeholders or text boxes or on the master, does the text
have shadow, the more detail the better - something may spark a light bulb
moment for someone :)

You may also want to make sure that you have not set your slides to
auto-advance on a certain time (slide transition pane). If you have, your
'click to advance' animations will automatically fire to try to make the
auto-advance happen.
