Ctrl grave doesn't work.

I have a workbook where Control Grave does not display the formula, altho a
macro that I have does toggle into and out of Formula display mode using the
following technique:-

What is the most likely reason why Control Grave does not work?

The problem occurs with just a specific workbook? Is OnKey being used in a
macro to reassign the keystroke?
