I do my math homework a lot on word 07, but this problem have annoyed me for
roughly a year now and i finally bothered asking for help.
Whenever i click ctrl-alt-8 or makes the marked text, or text/numbers in
Equation-box smaller, whereas ctrl-alt-9 makes it bigger.
I want to change this annoying feuture to do [ and ] since i use them quite
a lot and it gets annoying to copy/paste every time.
This only occurs in windows office programs (only tested on word 07).

You should be able to use AltGr instead of Ctrl+Alt.

However, if you really want to remove the shortcuts, here's how to do it:
Click the Office button, and then click Word Options. In the Customize
category, click the Customize button. Pick the "All Commands" category and
select ShrinkFontOnePoint. In the "Current keys" box, select the shortcut
and press Remove. Repeat this procedure with GrowFontOnePoint. Click Close,
and then click OK to close the Word Options dialog box. If/when you are
prompted to save the changes to the Normal template, choose to do so.
