First of all I've got 2 problems:
1)I cannot download certain windows updates. It comes
back with an error: Make sure "Cryptographic Services"
are running on your computer, and is in the
file "Update.inf." I did a search and can't find
the "Update.inf" file, and have no idea if
the "Cryptographic Services" are running on my computer.
How do I get this file, and check to see if this service
is running on my computer?

2)Why can't I enter my product key if I want to format my
hard drive or even just make some changes without an
error comming back, invalid product key? This damn XP
cost me over $300.00! Can anyone please help me? Thanks,

How To Fix The Cryptographic Service Error

Use a magnifying glass to read the Product Key code. For example,
you may be interpreting a B for an 8, 5 for a G, Z for a 2, etc.
