Cross tab report help needed

I am trying print a xtab report that has field headings that may change. I
am reporting on staff members based on their employment 'active or non
active'. The problem is that when someone is no longer active the report
crashes. Any helpful tips or ideas on how to over come this issue would be
greatly appreciated.

The solution will be to use the Column Headings property of the query so
that all the columns the report needs are generated, whether there is data
for them or not.
