Critical Updates

While checking for updates to Windows XP I was
shown "NVIDIA display software update released on Oct 06,
2003 12.2MB" then when I click install it goes to page
and says "unable to install..." I then went to Download
page and tried to find this update and the search engine
came back with "this file does not exist" Any help would
be... Cool.

I would stay away from driver downloads in Critical Updates. Go to your
video card manufacturers site and get the latest drivers.

IMHO

You might check the NVIDIA site and see if your update there is more current
than the one on XP's Update--I did that and downloaded NVIDIA'S most recent
update.

I would advise *not* installing driver updates from Windows Update,
especially not video ones. Go to the www.nvidia.com site and get their
latest set that they recommend for XP if you want to upgrade them
