Critical Error: "the specified module could not be found"

I get this error after I do anything in IE 6: clicking a link, entering a
web site in the address bar, selecting a favorite, everthing. I was running
IE 7 but had compatibility issues with other software I am running. I
reverted back to IE6 and now it does not work and I can't download anything
from Microsoft because I get this error. I can launch my browser and my home
page (Yahoo) comes up, but that's it. Please help!

What other software?

Do you have an available Restore Point that predates the problem /and/ the
install of IE7?
