Critical Error 101 upon Launch

M

Mike Horgan

Hello -

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of MAS.
It installed fine, but when I try to run it it starts and
then I get a dialog reporting a "Critical Error 101". I've
tried removing/reinstalling/rebooting several times to no
avail. Are other people seeing this error?

My computer is running Windows Media Center Edition with
SP2, if that matters.

Thanks for any help,
MH

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate you taking the time.

Unfortunately, I found this advice in the release notes and
in the KB and followed it several times, without resolving
the problem. I was hoping someone had another strategy or
more info on where the problem actually originates.

The reason I'm persuing this rather than just switching to
another product is that I've found MAS to be the best
product in this category, and it's free!

Best Regards,
Mike Horgan
