creating private web in FP2000

Gary

I'm trying to convert an existing web to a private web (to
use a username and password to gain access) in FP2000. I
know it could be done in FP98, but haven't been able to
find anywhere about how to do it in FP2000. Can somebody
please shed some light on this or tell me where to go to
find the info? Thanks in advance.

First you need to determine the following from your host:

1. Your host must allow you to create subwebs
2. You host must allow you to set unique permissions

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
