Creating ISO CD Images

P

Paul Smallridge

I know most CD Writing packages (Roxio, Nero etc) will allow you to make ISO
images of a CD but does anyone know of a FREE utility to do the same. I ask
because I have Nero installed at home but not on my LapTop here at work and
want to setup some Virtual CD's for use at work.

Regards.

I wish I could rate that response - especially from a so-called MVP!

Go ahead and rate it! The people that respond to questions posted here
depend on feedback to know how there answer worked for those they
replied to.

Carey is the WORST MVP I've ever encountered. He must be blowing
somebody very high up in the MS corporate hierarchy to have been
nominated, awarded, and reawarded MVP status. There really is no other
rational explanation for him being a MS-MVP.

How can it be "100% correct and appropriate" when the OP asked about a:
"FREE utility to do the same."

What part of "FREE" are you having trouble comprehending?

ISORecorder home page (with general instructions on use):
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

Pre-SP2 version:
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/IsoRecorder/download.asp

Post-SP2 beta version:
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/download/ISORecorderV2B2.zip

More full function applications (free) for CD/DVD burning would be:

DeepBurner Free
http://www.deepburner.com/

CDBurnerXP Pro
http://www.cdburnerxp.se/

Another Option would be to search the web with Pricewatch.com or
Dealsites.net and find deals on Nero and/or Roxio.

His problem is not with the word "FREE" it's with the English language
in general. Just ignore Carey or put him in your kill filter.
