creating export specifications

In exporting a table to a text (.csv) file via the export
wizard, if I click on the ADVANCED button and then the
SPECS button, a box opens which is titled "Import / Export
Specifications". What is the form of these specifications?
I want to make one of my numeric fields have a fixed
number of decimal places.

You use the window after clicking on the ADVANCED button to create the
specification (format for the fields, which delimiter to use, etc.) and then
you save that specification under some name. Then you can use that name to
apply the saved specification to future files.
