Use Active Directory Users & Computers to create the Windows account (like
your NT account in NT4).

Use Exchange Administrator to create the Exchange mailbox, assign it to the
user account you have already created.

In NT4 Exchange Administrator and User Manager for Domains used to kind of
integrate, this no longer happens with W2K but it still perfectly possible
to use Exchange 5.5 on W2K.

Your best bet is to use an ADC. It creates a connection agreement in either
one direction or both between AD's directory services and Ex55's directory
services and will replicate any changes depending on the direction you
created the agreement in. So when you create an object in AD, it replicates
it to Ex55, and vice-versa.
