Creating distribution list for use with web access

I need to create a distribution list in the global directory so that users
with the web access version of Outlook can send emails that will go to
everyone on the distribution list while only typing in a single email address
such as (e-mail address removed). I'm told this can only be done when using
the actual client version of Outlook and not with the web version. Is this
correct or is there a way get this done? And how?

Talk to the Exchange administrator about creating a distribution list on the server in the GAL. That's the only solution for what you want to do.
