Creating CDs of my Presentation with Movies in it

Frank Edwards

I want to make a CD of a group of presentations. These presentations have
links to pictures and movies in them that are not in the same directory as
the presentations themselves. I have copied these images and movies to the
presentation directory but I have been unable to determine how to edit the
link to use the current directory. Also, once I have done that I need to be
able to copy the entire directory to a CD and have everything on the CD and
working from the CD. Could you please tell me how to accomplish this. Thank
you in advance for your help.

You might want to give PFCExpress (a free add-in to PowerPoint) and use its
"Send To Zip" function. Simply burn all the contents of the zip file to the
CD. (Not the actual zip file.) By using PFCExpress "pathless links" will
be used for all linked files so that as long as all the files are in the
same folder as the presentation it will play regardless of folder structure
or where it is saved.

Show me the link and let me edit it

If you have PowerPoint 2003, use File, Package for CD
