Creating A New Shortcut Like "My Documents"

I'd like to create a shortcut on "Desktop" similar to "My Documents" or "My
Computer" or "My Network Places". I plan to call it "My Network Documents"
and have it point to a directory on a network.

I've found the linkd.exe utility, but this only lets me create reparse
points on the local computer. It would seem that there is some to point to a
network directory because "My Documents" can be redirected to a network
directory.

I don't want to just use a regular shortcut because I just want to
integerate the network folder into Windows Explorer. I also don't want the
shortcut showing up on the Windows Desktop. Just under Desktop in Windows
Explorer.

Thanks for the reply, Ryan.

What I'd like to do is have the shortcut show up in Windows Explorer under
"Desktop" instead of "My Computer". It should be at the same level as "My
Computer" and "My Documents".

This would be something like the Junction Point that Microsoft uses to
implement "My Documents".
