Create Boot CD

Greetings;
I need to create a bootable CD for my XP Pro system, then copy an encrypted
file onto the CD. My Nero software can create the disk, but I need an .IMA
file to write to the CD.
How do I create this .IMA file on my existing system?
Will this bootable CD be specific to my machine or will it work on any
machine?
