Create Association

Can someone give me A to Z instructions how to create an association in
folder options in control panel ...I received a wmv file (windows media
TM Movie which will not open until I create aa accociation....Many
thanks...Telboy1938

Are you able to save the file locally and open from there? If not, get the .wmv association fix from here:

Open Windows Media Player > Tools > Options
File types tab > Tick wmv > Click OK

Open Windows Media Player Tools Options
File types tab Tick wmv Click OK
