Crawler Toolbar - EULA advice needed

Spyware or not? I really don't understand all the "mumbo jumbo" -

To keep your Crawler Toolbar up-to-date, it sends a limited report back to the Crawler server which includes the version number of the Crawler software and configuration file. FWIW, if they're using Firefox I've found the Search Keywords feature
really great.

For example, go to http://www.google.com/ , right-click in the search text
box and click "Add a keyword for this search". Call it, say, "Google Web
Search" and then use the keyword google.

Then in the address bar you just have to type:
google crawler toolbar spyware
....to do a search. I've got all sorts of keywords set up and don't need any
toolbars to do my searching.
