crashing

Recently I have been trying to play an online game called Second Life. I
experience constant crashing. I've checked "C" drive, I have 2.74 GB free.
Any ideas what other settings I should check? When I am able to play long
enough, it operates very slowly ( high lag ).I've also tried to free up more
space on C- drive. It has a total of 13.9 GB, and have no idea why or what is
using so much of that space........thanks

Youre running min. amount of resources, try opening system
properties,advanced,
performance,virtual memory,change button,set C: to "let system manage" click
set 2X,close out. Also,a larger hd would'nt hurt & use old hd as extra page
file,
also,where's memory at,512mb is bare min.,1024 would work.Read kb555223

-- Thanks Andrew for the advice. I reset per instruction, but it continues
to crash. I have discovered that the game only needs half of everything that
my pc has. I checked video card;it's a radeon 9200 ,128 mb, which should be
enough accoeding to specs. The game had an upgrade , and it seemed like it
was doing ok, and then it crashed yet again. I have some locals trying to
sell me a high end video card for $500.00, but I don't see that happening. I
also was trying to track a reboot issue and ended up in BIOS, now pc runs
like a dog. I am computer illiterate, frustrated, and at the end of my
wits.Thanks in advance,
RB
