CPU busy at 100% after starting windows.

after restarting my computer with win2k professional,
services.exe and io.exe are immediately starting under
Task Manager and keep running with use of 100% CPU.
io.exe is even nowhere to be found in my PC by searching
file. However, the two programs seem stopped once I
connect to web by dial-up modem and CPU usage become 0%.
I can not end them by End Task (access denied).

Norton Antivirus can not find anything after a full system
scan. I have service pack 4 of win2K and latest updates.

Help me please. thanks
Jack

No idea really, but Google turned a few hits related to a Trojan
Horse...

Suggest a Trojan scan immediately. The A-V companies only scan for a
handful of Trojans you know,
