Count?

I need to insert a function that will look at "m/f" (Male / Female) column
and "p/s" (Primary / Secondary) column and return me a count for the Male -
Primary; Male - Secondary; Female - Primary; Female - Secondary.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A2:A100)="M"),--(B2:B100="P"))

to give Male/Primary

Repeat as required to get M/S,F/P,F/S

for the Male - Primary

=sumproduct(--(a2:a1000="Male")*(b2:b1000="Primary"))

change the text or use a cell reference to set the others
