Couldn't share

Hi,

I am using windows XP. If i share my folders it should

be accessible from any of the system in the network right!. But when i
try to access my system from other 's systems i am getting an error
msg.


\\192.168.0.5 is not accessible.You might not
have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator

of this server to find out if you have access permission.

I don't have any firewall(including windows
firewall). I couldn't access my system even from other XP systems.

What should i do to make my system
accessible...Help me ya

Are both PC's in the same workgroup ?

Both are in same lan.Is it necessary to the should be in same work
group for sharing.if yes means tell me how to create that workgroup.

You don't need to create one as such just check they are both in the same
workgroup.

Right click My Computer, select properties, click the computer name tab and
check the workgroups on both, if they are not the same then click the change
button to make them both the same, ie : Home on both.
