Corrupted Gagdet?

Hi,

Initially I could install gadgets that were downloaded. But I am now unable
to install any new gadgets. There is simply a flash of the screen but nothing
really happens and the new downloaded gadget is not installed at all.

I've checked that the .gadget extension is associated correctly to windows
sidebar and have even tried correcting with UniBlue's Registry Booster. I've
checked that the downloaded files were not blocked. Nothing seem to work.

I am at a lost as to how to get this working? Can someone help. Could Norton
be the culprit? How can I repair the gadget installation?

your gadgets have been corrupted by a registry cleaner or a 3rd party
cleaning tools. DON'T USER REGISTRY CLEANERS, DON'T USE CLEANING TOOLS. THEY
DESTROY YOUR WINDOWS.
