Corrupt shortcut to "Folder options"

Hello, I have a small problem in XP Home.
If I click Start/Settings/Controlpanel one of the
alternatives is
"Folder options". The problem is that the folder icon has
a red error mark on it and it won't open. I get a message
saying: "(null) is not a valid Windows32-program"!
This happened after I tried to get rid of some spy/ad-
ware, and I may have inadvertantly removed a file or
something. (In the end I had to install a special program
to clean it out.) This seems to be just a shortcut,
because I can still open it by using Tools/ Folder
options. But how do I remove/replace this shortcut icon?
Is it a file missing wich I can install from the XP CD?
Or do I have to make a reinstall of XP? Or is it a
registry fix?
What do you think?
