Corrupt pst reported by Backup Exec

Mike Bailey

Recently, I moved my pst file to my LAN drive so that if could be backed
up each night. I also moved 5 other users pst's as well. When the back
up runs, I logs a message saying that only my pst "is corrupt. File
cannot verify." It does back it up though. Is this something to be
concerned about? Can I "fix" it?

I'm running Outlook 2003.
Windows XP Pro - patched up with all the latest.
PST is on a Server 2003.
Backup Exec verion 10.
PST size = 137mb actual file size, Outlook reports it as 146,740k

Pst-files were never designed to be connected to over the network. Microsoft
doesn't support or recommend it. The proper way to do this is keeping the
pst-file locally and use the pst-backup tool from Microsoft and set the
backup location to the server.
