Corrupt profiles

Why would I be getting corrupt mail profiles regularly? I'm running Office 2007 with Business Contact Manager on Vista Ultimate, with MS OneCare (a definite suspect in the case...). I'm also running X1 for searching and I've limited Windows Desktop Search to my main Outlook file plus One Note, and no contacts or files.

I regularly have Outlook go into Not Responding mode, and stay there, then crash with either an AppHang or Approach. If I create a new profile, it works great. I've run SCANPST and Check for Errors on my BCM database and both are clean.

Any ideas? Thanks for your support!

That was supposed to be "AppHang or AppCrash"... my spellchecker was too aggressive.

I'd suspect X1.

Thanks Brian!

Could you elaborate? What about X1 would corrupt profiles?

Thanks,
Lon

X1 is, I believe, what Yahoo Search evolved into. General search programs
that look at Outlook data (like Google Desktop Search and Windows Desktop
Search) can have odd side-effects. It's just something you should test.
