Correct Product Key Not Accepted, What Now?!

Hello...I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop with Vista software and upon
opening Word, Excel, etc it is prompting me to enter my product key. I found
the 25 character line on the bottom of the laptop and have entered it several
times, but the program is telling me the characters are incorrect. I am sure
that they are correct and that I am using the right numbers/letters. Any
suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Well, finding an Office support forum might be a good start - this is
a programming group.

The product key for your apps is likely to be in the documentation
from the vendor, not on the laptop itself. If you can't find it, call
who-ever sold you the laptop.

Re-read the documentation that came with your Toshiba. They installed a
limited time trial of Office and the trial has now expired. You need to
either *purchase* a license for Office or uninstall it.
The key on the sticker is for *Windows*, not Office.
