Corporate Calender and Meetings

Is there a way to use something like "Corporate Calender" in Exchange 2003
and Outlook 2003?

Actually, I have setup a public folder corporate calender and posting all
our corporate events to that calender. However, the problem is, there is no
kind of synchronization between the Corporate Calender or the users,
personal calender. For most part, users schedule things in their personal
calender without knowing whats going on in the public calender.

Is there a easy and better way to make this collaboration work. Even a white
paper will do.

Thank you

I suggest that rather than just posting appointments in
the Corporate Calendar, you have the user do a meeting
request for that calendar and then have someone accept
that request, that way not only is the appointment in the
user's calendar and the corporate calendar, but also in
the calendar of any user invited to the meeting.

Well, the reason why I decided to use corporate calender in the first place
should have explained what I want to do. I want to have a corporate
calender( MASTER SCHEDULE) of all the events for the month for any one in
the organization to see whats going on and when. Thats the whole purpose of
the corporate calender.

Now, the problem I am having is that the office manager or the exective
assistant who create this corporate calender have to find a way to
synchronize these company events based on peoples appointments (not
everyone's but atleast the management team). Also, at the same time I want
this event to appear in users personal calenders so they can make their
appointments depending on whats going on in the office.

Insight please. Please do not reply just for the sake of it. Please
understand what i am trying to do.

Thank you,
