Copying User Profiles

I am setting up Windows 2000 Professional on a new computer. I have the Admin
profile desktop shortcuts etc set up like I want them. There will be myself
and two other users on this computer. I would like all of them to have the
same default settings.

Is it possible to copy them from the Admin account to the User accounts or
do I have to set up each manually?

The Que Windows 2000 Professional book mentions that this can be done but I
am leary of changing the SYSTEMROOT Document & Settings folder without
additional instruction. The little voice in the back of my head keeps nagging
that a mistake here could lock me out of the system with the trusty Win98
fdisk as the only option.

I did a search of this discussion board and did not see a similar question.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Right-click "My Computer" then select Properties>User Profiles then
select your profile and copy it to the other users. Sometimes the user
profile to which you copied the profile to might take a bit of time to
load when he first logs in, on the second login things usually go well.
