brand new at this and struggling! really basic questions
i'm sure. i bought an iriver mp3 player, connected it to
my brand new dell computer, and successfully figured out
how to copy music files from my audio cd's, through
iriver music manager, to my new player. struggling with
downloads from net. first figured out after spending
several dollars on downloads (!) that i need to unprotect
the music so that once i download i can send to my player
successfully, then learned that i can only send wma files
to my player through windows media player. figured out
how to highlight a single wma file in "music to copy"
side of the window (logic very much like iriver music
manager software) but can't seem to get my portable
device acknowledged, which probably leads to the "will
not fit" comment in status box on left. can anyone help?
any big picture suggestions (this seems much more
complicated than i expected)? thanks a lot.

Which iRiver player is it? They do have discussion forums where you may find an
answer. http://www.iriver.com:80/community/discussion_new.asp
