Copying Tab within a Workbook

M

Madelene

I have a big workbook with multiple tabs. When I need to copy a tab within a
workbook, a message appears saying "a formula sheet you want to move or copy
contains the name "xxx" which already exist on the destination w/s. Do you
want to use the version of the name?" I keep clicking until the name
finishes from the alphabetical sequence. It is so timing consuming. Could
someone pls help me?

If you want to create a copy of a sheet, the quickest way is to hold
down the CTRL key and drag the sheet tab horizontally - a small arrow
will indicate where the tab will be inserted when you take your finger
off the mouse button. As this is a straight copy, you will not get the
warning message.

Hope this helps.
