copying photos to a cd

get it to copy the photos to the temporary location before the cd burn.

I suppose you are trying to utilize the built in CD burning capabilities of
Windows XP?
Tried a decent third-party application?

no, because this method has worked for me for about 2 years.

This may fall under the blatantly obvious category but have you tried
another disc? Is it failing on the same file everytime? Could possibly be
a corrupt file. Also, as Shenan mentioned, I would recommend trying a
third-party application (Nero offers a free demo). This will help
determine if it's a device problem or Windows issue.

You might try this: Empty the Temp folders then try it again.
