Copying formulas from/to monthly spreadsheets

I've asked this question last month, but couldn't use the answer.

Excel 2003

I want to copy my September workbook to an October workbook. Several
formulas in the September workbook reference a table within that workbook.
When I copy and rename the workbook to October, the formulas still reference
the September table. There is a table by the same name for October, which is
the table I want referenced. I just want the formulas to look exactly like
September (=SUMIF(' SHIFT 1 '!$L$1:$L$200,"BB",' SHIFT 1 '!$X$1:$X$200).
When I copy September's formula and paste special, formulas and format, I get
this:

=SUMIF('[09 Daily Shift Template.xls]SHIFT 1'!$K$1:$K$200,"BB",'[09 Daily
Shift Template.xls]SHIFT 1'!$X$1:$X$200)

Any ideas?

TIA,

Carole,

You should be able to open the September File and then use Save As to create
the October version instead of copying the worksheets. That should resolve
the issues.

Thanks, Paul. I had a 50/50 chance of choosing Save As vs copying! Your
suggestion works!
