Copying Error over LAN

I have a 2 PC LAN, both PC's running upto date copies of XP Home.
Each PC has 2 HD. Despite having Sharing set ON, whenever I try to copy a
file from the Client to the Host PC I get an eror message when copying to D
drive on the Host PC, " Copying Error. Make sure HD is not full or the file
in use".

Anyone know how to deal with this problem. I have to workaround by copying
the file to the other HD and then move it to the intended Drive D.

That's correct. Each HD has at least 10GB free and the files are between 30K
and 4MB in size.

Does the file transfer even start at all or does it simply fire up an error
dialog?
