copying elaborate animation schemes

Jim Meyer

Say I invest 10 minutes creating an animation scheme for a
slide, entrance - emphasis - exit - by top level paragraph
ect... and would like the same scheme to be used
throughout the presentation.

How can I copy a set of "custom animation" and apply it to
another slide? It seems like the format painter would be a
natural tool, or perhaps under animation schemes you could
add a scheme based on current slide or something.

Am I missing it or is it just a huge oversite?

Thanks

Jim

The best way: Put the animations on your master. They will then show up on
each slide. If you want to change the animations for a specific slide, check
the box about applying the master animations to this slide.

(Post back if you need more details.)

Nope, I mean go to View --> Master--> Slide Master and put your animations
on the slide that shows up there. You can apply your animations to the
placeholders and other items on the master slides and they will carry over
to any slide that uses that master.
