Copying .avi movie to a CD

I was finally able to move past my color-reversal problems by saving my movie
to my computer as a .avi file (saved to desktop and C:drive), but then I
wanted to burn a copy to send to a friend...the 3-minute movie is 558 MB!

I have Windows XP and both the Sonic and another standard disc burning
package are on the computer (it's icon is a flaming disc...but I don't know
the name). So I tried several times to copy the movie and the resulting
product runs choppy and the soundtrack (music) is also very choppy.

The past couple of nights have been frustrating...but this group ihas been a
great help!

The flaming disc is Nero. If you have the full version double click that to
open Nero Express.
Make sure DVD is selected in drop down list then go to "Make your own
DVD-Video".
Open that and in the "Add files" just find your AVI and keep clicking Next
from there.

Thanks Kenny! I hope this is the solution....so frustrating. It didn't seem
like a difficult task!
