Copying a serial ATA drive?

I just ordered a serial ata drive to replace my eide. Both Drives are
western digital's. can I either use ghost or western digital's own hard
drive software(data lifeguad) to clone this new drive? I know you can do
eide to eide with no problem, but is there any kind of issues copying eide
to serial? I just don't want to install everything all over again. Oh and my
current drive has 3 partitions.

Serial or parallel -- it should be transparent to the software. Either
of those programs should work as well with serial ATA as they did with
parallel ATA.
