"copy to cd" option is gone

I have Microsoft XP and in "My pictures" the picture task
pane no longer has the option to copy to cd. I was able
to make one cd with that option and then it disappeared.
How can I retrieve it. Is there an online fix or is it
somewhere deep in the system because I really don't want
to return the machine to where I bought it for service.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Easy to repair.
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...

I went to properties. clicked on D drive. Properties. and enabled recording on to CD's. It worked....Waaahooo...thx..Learned this from a listing up above..
