"Copy to CD" in Picture Tasks

After looking through these posts, I see I am not the
only one who's "copy to CD" in Picture Tasks has
disappeared! Everyone I know who upgraded to the new
Service Pack2 is experiencing this problem. What I don't
understand is: How can Microsoft NOT have a fix for this?
Nothing is mentioned anywhere! All I see is go to the the
Knowledge Base area and, trust me, there is NOTHING in
these that says anything about this problem. It has
something to do with the upgrade to SP2, but as of yet, I
see no way to fix it? Anyone out there have any
suggestions? It was sooooo easy before to just highlight
the pictures from My Pictures, choose the Copy to CD and
burn them! Now that is not an option anymore. VERY
Frustrating!

As an alternative solution .Try using a program such As CD Creator from
Roxio it gives you more control over

OK for all of you that found this same problem after
upgrading to SP2, I contacted Microsoft support and found
the fix from a technician! No explanation why this
little "glitch" happens with the SP2 ugrade, but it
worked:
Go to My Computer and right click on your CD RW drive.
Go to Properties, click on the last tab there, Recording
and put the checkmark in the "Enable for recording"
Click Apply and Close and then go check out your My
Pictures folder, when you look at your pictures (like
before) under Picture Tasks the "Copy all items to CD" is
back again.
