Copy text to all slides

Hi

I have a few hundred jpegs that I will be showing on a PP presentation. I
would like to insert some words (the same words) along the base of each
picture. I don't really want to cut and paste hundreds of times - is there a
method to copy this text to all slides.

Thank you

HI Wayne,

Go to View --> Master --> Slide Master

You will see the master slide. Dont get confused by the text you see
(like click to edit master title style etc)

Now got to Insert --> Text Box

Move the mouse pointer to exactly the spot on the slide where you want
tto place the text. In the text box, write whatever it is you want to
see on all slides.

Now close the Master View.

You should be able to see the text on all your slides.

I am obviously being a bit dumb this morning. It's not working. I inserted
the text and it shows up on the top slide on the left of the screen but not
on all the others. Do I need to do something esle.
