Hi folks ... happily running XP Pro am familiar with copy/print Screen
into say a Word/Excel doc/spreadsheet.

Have seen print screen done as a gif file posted on a website and

Could any kind soul show me how print screen as a gif (or jpeg) image file?

Thank in advance ...

After you hit PrtScrn, go to Paint via Start --> Programs --> Accessories and
then hit CTRL+V. Then go to File --> Save As, click the down arrow where it
says "Save As Type" and then choose the format you want to save it as i.e.
jpg, gif, png etc.

Save it into Paint and you should be able to save it as a GIF.

My colleges uses an app called "Print Key 2000" which i find annoying as
hell, but you may find it does what you need.
