Copy / past won't paste to page, just clip board ???

When I copy and try to paste form another source. The copy shows up on the
clipboard but not on the bage and I can't copy it from the clipboard to the
page Why?

Does this affect Word only? If so, it could be caused by a poorly written
add-in. Did you install something recently?
