Copy Error During New XP SP2 Installation

GH

I have XP Home Edition.
Since automatic update is on, it downloaded new
SP2 updates.
During installation at backing up files process, there
is an copy error message saying Setup cannot copy
the file msdarem.dll. Ensure that the location specified
below is correct, or change it and insert 'Windows XP
System Files' in the drive you specify.
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

I cancel installation and run file search.
I find 4 file locations contained msdarem.dll.
3 are looked identical 108KB date modified 8/29/02
and 1 seems new 116KB date modified 8/4/04
in c:\Windows\SoftWare Distribution\Download\
9ded4ee34......
What should I do?

Go to Start > Run and type: CMD , and hit enter.
In the resulting Command Prompt window type:
SFC /SCANNOW and hit enter. Have your Windows XP
CD available as it may be required to be inserted in the CD
drive.
