Copy & divide by

I have a spreadsheet with numbers stated as whole numbers i.e. 12,251,
25,000, 851, 55,250. I need to copy these values to another spreadsheet and
divide them by 1,000 in the process to state the above numbers as 12.251,
25.0, .851, 55.250 etc.
How can this be accomplished in Excel?
Thanks for the help.

Copy to the other sheet, then put 1000 in a cell and copy that, then
select the copied values, do Paste Special, Divide.

Format an empty cell as Number. Enter the number 1000. Edit>Copy
Select your numbers to be divided
Edit>Paste Special, check Divide
