Copy Contacts fro Outlook 2007 to desktop or disc

I need to save my contacts in Outlook by moving them elsewhere while I do a
system restore on my computer. I cannot find a way to copy the out of
Outlook. Is that an option?

Close Outlook. Make a copy of your pst file. Where that is located, depends
on your OS.....

is a pst file and where would I look? I am running on Vista.

The default file name is outlook.pst and the default location is:
C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook
You may have to enable Hidden Files in Windows Explorer to see it.
