Copy Contact to Different Folder

J

Jan Groshan

I have a general contact list folder, and another called Soccer. I would
like to copy some of the entries in my main contact list to the Soccer
folder, but can't figure out how to "copy" without having to re-enter all of
the information in the Soccer folder. I tried emailing myself the contact
information and then dragging it into the Soccer folder, but if I do that,
it disappears from the main folder. HELP !

You may click File/Copy to Folder, or drag the item with the left mouse
button and press ctrl, or drag it with right mouse button, then choose Copy.

A better approach for managing your contacts might be using categories.
Instead of having copies of your contacts you would have only one contact
each and could view it in different groups like soccer etc.

Thanks Michael. I'll definitely give it a shot.
